Our Missions
ESPD integrates the best people and processes to ensure successful execution and implementation of our missions.
We provide continuous oversight and independent assessments for our directed ESMPO-G and RPP missions, enabling detailed understanding of our projects. We manage Earth science data, which is provided at no cost to worldwide users, and maintain and expand the historical Earth science data record.

Science & Applications
The Earth system, like the human body, comprises diverse components that interact in complex ways, like our oceans, land, air, and precipitation.
Our missions observe the fundamental components that enable scientists to study the interactions between our planetʼs complex systems from space.
On a planetary scale, we can only answer these questions with the vantage point of space, and with data records that are calibrated and validated, consistent, and continuous over decadal time scales.
