NASA is one of America’s Best Employers for Diversity 2023, according to Forbes and Statista, an independent market research firm. Statista surveyed approximately 45,000 United States employees working for companies with a minimum of 1,000 employees, collected direct and indirect recommendations, and completed extensive research to evaluate the organization’s diversity-related practices.
“NASA is proud to be recognized as a top diversity employer,” said Administrator Bill Nelson. “Diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility are core values for NASA. Our work to foster an environment of respect – one where all employees feel empowered to contribute to the success of every mission – is a never-ending pursuit. We recognize we have a responsibility to uphold these values to ensure everyone knows they belong to the Artemis Generation.”
The 2023 America’s Best Employers for Diversity list includes 500 companies from a variety of industries in the public, private, and academia sectors. NASA is the only federal agency on the list and ranked among the top for the aerospace and defense category.
