At the Huntsville Public Library, Mitzi Adams and Naveen Vetcha presented materials to prepare the local community for the 4/8/24 total solar eclipse. On 3/17/24, the pair presented information about solar anatomy and other phenomena, eclipse details, eclipse-viewing safety, and citizen science for the eclipse. Adams handed out solar-viewing glasses to about 50 people.
