The Ames Earth Science Project Office is a small group of success-oriented individuals providing project management for NASA’s Science Mission Directorate field research. We provide planning, implementation and post-mission support for large, complex, multi-agency, national and international field campaigns. Although we primarily support airborne missions, we do support others (i.e. ship-based) as needed.
We have led over 50 successful field campaigns, dating back to 1987. Our customers include NASA’s Upper Atmosphere Research Program, Atmospheric Chemistry and Modeling Analysis Program, Tropospheric Chemistry Program, Radiation Sciences Program, Atmospheric Dynamics and Remote Sensing, Airborne Science Program, Atmospheric Dynamics and Remote Sensing Program, Cryospheric Program and Ocean Biology and Biochemistry Program.
