The Unity node, launched on December 4, 1998.
The Boeing Company manufactured the first element to be delivered to space station, the Unity node, launched on December 4, 1998, and the U.S. Destiny Laboratory launched on February 7, 2001. Both were built in the same advanced manufacturing area at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
