A non-competitive appointment of certain current or former federal employees to a competitive service position.
Eligibility
You must hold or have held a permanent competitive service position with the same or higher promotion potential as the advertised position. Former federal employees must be eligible for reinstatement.
Required Documentation
An SF-50 (Notice of Personnel Action) that contains your tenure; grade and step; salary; and full performance level.
