NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 Touches Down at Florida Space Coast

After a two-hour flight, NASA astronauts Anne McClain, commander, and Nichole Ayers, pilot, along with mission specialists JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Takuya Onishi and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov, landed shortly after 2:45 p.m. EST today at the Launch and Landing Facility at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 will quarantine and conduct preflight operations at the Neil A. Armstrong Operations and Checkout Building until their launch to the International Space Station.

NASA, SpaceX, and international partner representatives are holding a Flight Readiness Review today at NASA Kennedy. The review focuses on the preparedness of SpaceX’s crew transportation system, the space station, and its international partners to support the launch of Crew-10 and return of Crew-9.

At 5:30 p.m., or one hour after completion of the readiness review, teams will hold a media mission overview teleconference to discuss the review and status to flight.

At 6:30 p.m., or immediately following the mission overview teleconference, the Crew-10 crew will speak to reporters about their upcoming launch during a live-streamed event carried on NASA+.

NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 mission is the company’s 10th crew rotation flight as part of the agency’s Commercial Crew Program. Liftoff is targeted at 7:48 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, March 12, from Launch Complex 39A at NASA Kennedy aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
