Earth to Sky Community of Practice Events
A number of agencies are partnering with the Earth to Sky Interagency Partnership to have events at Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas for an eclipse event. Scientists and engineers will be visiting schools, libraries, and community events before the eclipse and supporting a festival in the park for the eclipse.

Bridge Street LIVE! kicks off an exciting weekend leading up to the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse, Hot Springs is adding a FREE public concert by blues artist Nikki Hill with opening act Gravel Yard Blues Band and presentations from NASA and NOAA to kick off the weekend leading up to the eclipse.

Building Paper Spacecraft with NASA
April 5, 2024 | 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
During this workshop, volunteers will tell you about NOAA’s Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) and NASA’s Tracking and Data Relay Satellites (TDRS) and then you will have an opportunity to build your own JPSS-2 and TDRS paper spacecraft models to take home

Exploring Careers at NASA and NOAA
April 5, 2024 | 7- 8 p.m.
Join NASA and NOAA panelists for a lively, moderated roundtable discussion to delve into their current projects, eclipse science, future work, citizen science opportunities, and career paths. The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions.

Eclipse Fest
April 6-7, 2024 | 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
NOAA, NASA and the National Park Service are will have hands on STEAM activities on the Arlington Lawn to celebrate the 2024 eclipse and learn more about eclipse science, space communications, space weather and weather satellites.

Eclipse Encounter
April 8, 2024
“Weekend” of eclipse activities, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for general admission. For the eclipse date, tickets sold in advance with eclipse activities for the family, free digital dome shows all day, and a livestream from NASA.
