Join Miller Memorial Library in watching the partial solar eclipse! With a peak of ninety-one percent of the sun covered, it’s sure to be a fantastic sight, so why not come to watch, enter a raffle for a NASA poster, and treat yourself to eclipse themed snacks and goodies!

Earth as Art Exhibition at the Connecticut Science Center
April 15-28, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition to their scientific value, many satellite images are simply lovely to look at. Satellites capture an incredible variety of views of Earth. See the mesmerizing beauty of river deltas, mountains, and other sandy, salty, and icy landscapes. Some might even remind you of actual famous works of art! Check out a special exhibit of Earth As Art images at the Connecticut Science Center.
