NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center mathematician Billie Robertson runs a November 27, 1972 real-time simulation of Translunar Injection (TLI) Go-No-Go for Apollo 17. Over a career stretching from 1952 to 1979, Robertson worked on a number of programs ranging from the guidance and control systems for Explorer I to the development of computer models for launches during the Apollo, Skylab, and Apollo Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) programs.
