Sept. 18, 2013 — At NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, the countdown is in progress for the Orbital Sciences Corporation’s Antares rocket at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport’s Launch Pad-0A. The company’s Cygnus cargo spacecraft is scheduled for launch at 10:58 a.m. EDT on a cargo resupply demonstration mission to the International Space Station. This will be the first spacecraft launched to the orbiting laboratory from Virginia.
