NASA’s ER-2 #806 arrived at the Dryden Aircraft Operations Facility in Palmdale, CA, after a brief night proficiency flight by research pilot Denis Steele on Jan. 11, 2010. The high-altitude aircraft and its sister ship, ER-2 #809, were transferred from NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards, CA to the Palmdale facility, their new base of operations for science missions around the globe.January 11, 2010
